Kathy Yelle, RTT
Kathy is a (RTT) Registered Thai Therapist who specializes in Thai Yoga Bodywork/Thai Massage. She has studied Yoga, Reiki, Qigong and Meditation and loves helping people find their own energetic balance. Thai Yoga Bodywork aims to help receivers release blocked areas and stimulate the flow of healing energies in the body, mind, and spirit. With techniques such as acupressure, gentle twisting, assisted Hatha yoga poses, rhythmic massage, and energy work, the blocked energy is released and healing can begin from a holistic perspective.
When the systems of the body are working well and energy distribution is balanced, you feel calm, happy, relaxed, energetic and free from stiffness and pain.
Yoga today is regarded as an acceptable way to stretch and open the body to build strength and flexibility. However, when receiving a Thai Yoga Bodywork session, one remains passive, thereby allowing greater range of motion for the joints, tendons, and ligaments. One may think of it as a "passive yoga practice." Kathy joined Knotworks because she believes in being proactive in your own wellness and looks forward to working with you in attaining your wellness goals.
